I find joy in creating engaging materials that support the needs of students, educators, administrators, and families. Between unit plans, lesson plans, sample texts, activity handouts, interactive presentations, rubrics, curriculum scopes, course syllabi, and professional development guides, I have created educational resources for a wide variety of purposes and audiences. Most of my work officially falls into the categories of English language development (ELD/ENL), English language arts (ELA), and social and emotional learning (SEL), but I take an interdisciplinary, project-based approach focused on connecting students with themselves, their communities, and the world beyond their own experiences.
