Professional Experience
Since my first day of kindergarten, I knew I wanted to be an educator. After tutoring and conducting corporate training during undergrad, I officially started my K-12 career and eventually taught every grade level. The seven years I spent in the classroom developing ELA and SEL curricula alongside multilingual learners sparked my passion for creating culturally sustaining resources for teachers and students. Since 2023, I have had the opportunity to focus on this aim full time by providing curriculum services to organizations ranging from edTech startups to established publishing houses.

Currently volunteer with the International Rescue Committee's youth program tutoring high school students.
Researched, developed, and taught a variety of courses, predominately in 6th-12th grades, centered on building multiliteracies and critical thinking through collaborative projects.
Adhered to Common Core, WIDA, IB, CEFR, Vietnamese, and French Baccalaureate standards.
Educational Leadership and Teacher Training
Served as English Department Chair, organizing subject-matter meetings and technological training sessions to prepare the team for remote and hybrid structures.
Prepared and delivered ELA curriculum training sessions as a professional learning specialist at Amplify.
Assisted in the delivery of immersive training sessions for ProSolve's SEL experiential learning curricula.
Beyond K-12
Volunteered as a teaching assistant in a public English development program for adults.
Designed and led certification courses with as many as 100 participants as a corporate trainer.
Wrote facility-wide protocols and action plans, developing and delivering relevant training sessions and collecting and implementing feedback.

Through my time as a teacher and work with clients such as Nearpod, English Learner Portal, ForgedEd, and Resources for Learning, I have written, edited, and consulted on a range of products under the umbrellas of literacy and social and emotional learning.
