Capstone Project
I left teaching to pursue my master's in curriculum with one central question in mind: What makes a "good" English Language Arts curriculum? As I deepened my knowledge of educational theory and studied under renowned professors in the curriculum field, I learned that there is no singular "right" answer, though there are certainly foundational mindsets, principles, and practices needed to create engaging, equitable curricula. To synthesize my learning and articulate my curriculum writing philosophy, I created a website that dissects different facets of ELA curricula and highlights the experts whose work has shaped my practice.
